Employee Spotlight: Ross Willman

Ross Willman is a PTA with 10 years of experience in clinical practice and over 4 years of experience working directly for Joint Active Systems (JAS) as a Regional Manager, coordinating sales support and management. During his time in practice, he relied extensively on JAS products as an adjunct to clinical treatment to help his patients recover from range of motion deficits. His breadth of clinical experience and knowledge are incredibly beneficial to our internal team at JAS, especially our technical support department, and distributors nationwide.

Ross is quite the family man at work and at home. He is selfless, kind, and admired by his peers. As a St. Louis Cardinals fan, Ross loves some good-natured office banter with the Cub fans. Thankfully, they play along, and his peers have said he is “a delight to work with,” “always pleasant and in a good mood,” and “genuinely a great guy, always willing to help anyone with anything.” His positive perspective is as bright as the sun shining through his office window, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

Ross will hold the door for you, offer to help carry something heavy, and even use his velvety-smooth voice to record a voiceover for product fitting videos on the JAS website. When he took on this position, none of us could have foreseen him becoming “the voice of JAS,” but here we are. He did volunteer his arm once in a photo shoot, but that got a little hairy, so we like to keep him behind the microphone.

In an office setting, it’s easy to communicate strictly through email, but as a PTA Ross has always been very hands-on.  He approaches challenges at JAS in the same way. He is never afraid to jump on a video call with a patient to provide tips to ensure a positive outcome, which is his favorite thing about working at JAS.

When Ross isn’t taking care of his JAS family, he is spending time with his wife Ashley and children; Kellen (5), Eden (2), and Emmett (11 mo.) He proudly displays his family photos and artwork created by his children in his office. Ross also enjoys doing anything outdoors, including yard work, teaching the little guys in his life how to fish, landscaping, golf, and baseball. Most recently, he & his wife have been working on remodeling their home in Teutopolis, IL.
